747 Electric Hinge

The 747 Series is a stainless steel non-loadbearing hinge which serves as a wireway for electrical equipment installed in the door. The hinge provides five wires at 5’ in door and 3’ in jamb.

Operation

The 747 is a mortised hinge, which is generally mounted as the center hinge or fourth hinge on a swing door application. The hinge allows operation of any electrical device mounted in the door, up to 5 amps.
