Our Company History
Innovative Detention Systems began in 2007 designing, developing
and manufacturing high security detention equipment, hardware and
controls in our combined 75,000 square foot facility based in Minooka, IL.
We developed a global reputation for industry-leading design, innovative
engineering and cost-efficient solutions. Our staff has over 30 years of
experience and is dedicated to deliver products and services focused on
improving customer's image, performance, profitability and peace of mind
which truly makes Innovative Detention Systems a prominent player in the industry.
We are backed by our sister companies, Elcon, Inc (electronic controls)
and United Machine and Tool, LLC (CNC & Laser precision machine shop).
